Austin and I took off Thursday and Friday of this past week to get some stuff done around the house, and let me tell you...it was a success!!!
Thursday we cleaned out the entire garage, organized it between: garage sale, attic, tools
we then moved everything we haven't used for 2 years up in the attic and holy cow was that a project. Imagine this......
To get to the attic you have to climb on top of the washer and dryer and not only is it 125 degrees up there poor Austin has to wait for me to life the extremely heavy bins on top of the washer then I had to climb up there and then lift them over my head to him. Umm needless to say it was so hard, so hot and so exhausting. BUT WE DID IT
That night we took a late night swim and it felt great. We haven't gone swimming since last year so it was nice to get back in the water.
Friday we cleaned the house and worked on the basement, then went to the casino for some all you can eat crab legs. Yummy...we are big fans of crab and we needed some excitement so why not hit the casino up. The food was good but the gambling was NOT. I only put $20 in and played for about 10 min, waste of time and money. Plus it was so smokey in there, not cool...not cool.
Saturday we were supposed to go to the movies...but got a call from some friends who invited us over to watch the UFC fights and Austin couldn't resist. So we went over there but ended up watching it at our house because something messed up with their cable, so thanks Nicole and Rusty we had a great time!
Sunday we went to church and relaxed the rest of the day. It was a fun filled 4 days spent with my wonderful husband.
